Marinated Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 can tomato soup
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce (optional)
    1 tsp. mustard (optional)
    1 onion, sliced
    1 green pepper, cut into strips
    2 lb. carrots, sliced
Preparation
    Cook sliced carrots in salted water until they are just tender, not soft.
    Drain.
    Pour tomato soup into pan; add sugar, vinegar and oil.
    Simmer until hot and sugar is dissolved.
    Add sliced onions and green pepper.
    Let stand a few minutes.
    Add the carrots and refrigerate.
