Apple Crisp - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. sliced, pared tart apples
2 Tbsp. water
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. granulated or brown sugar, packed
6 Tbsp. flour
4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Place apple slices in ungreased 1 3/4-cup casserole.
Sprinkle water, lemon juice and cinnamon on apples. Mix remaining ingredients until crumbly; sprinkle on apples. Bake, uncovered, until apples are tender and topping is golden brown, about 30 minutes.
Serve warm.
Top with light cream or ice cream, if you like.
Makes 4 servings.
