Shrimp Scampi - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    20 large raw shrimp
    2 cloves garlic, minced and crushed
    1 Tbsp. chopped shallots or onion
    pepper to taste
    sprinkle of salt (optional)
    8 Tbsp. butter (1/4 lb.)
    3/4 c. white wine
    1 1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    chopped parsley
    1 (6 oz.) box Uncle Ben's long grain and wild rice, prepared by package directions
Preparation
    Saute shrimp in 5 tablespoons butter until pink.
    Add garlic, shallots and pepper.
    When shrimp is done (4 to 5 minutes, until barely transparent), add remaining butter.
    As it melts, stir in wine slowly, mixing until it emulsifies.
    Add lemon juice and parsley.
    Serve over rice.
    Makes 4 servings.
    Can be cut in half for two.
