Broccoli Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 2 bunches broccoli
    1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. chopped red onion
    1/4 c. chopped cooked bacon or bacon bits
    1/4 to 1/2 c. mayonnaise (lo-fat is okay)
    4 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
    2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Combine first 4 ingredients.
    In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients.
    Pour dressing over salad; mix well and refrigerate up to 6 to 8 hours.
    Serve chilled.
