Buttermilk Pecan Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 egg, well beaten
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
    2 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 1/2 c. pecans
Preparation
    Add sugar gradually to beaten egg; beat until light.
    Add melted butter; blend.
    Mix and sift dry ingredients.
    Add alternately with buttermilk.
    Stir just enough to blend.
    Stir in pecans.
    Bake in greased loaf pan (9 x 5 x 3-inch) in moderate oven (350\u00b0) for 1 hour.
