Dad'S Marinated Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 head cabbage
1 onion
1 green pepper
1 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
1 Tbsp. salt
1 tsp. celery salt
1 tsp. dry mustard
3/4 c. vegetable oil
Preparation

Shred cabbage and put into a 13 x 9-inch casserole dish.
Add layer of sliced onion, separated into rings.
Add layer of sliced pepper.
Pour sugar over this.
Do not mix.
Combine vinegar, salt, celery seed, mustard and oil; bring to boil.
Pour over cabbage while hot.
Do not mix.
Put in refrigerator until cool or overnight.
It is best when it has had time to marinate.
Serves 8.
