Prune Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. cooking oil
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. cooked prunes
1 c. buttermilk with 1 tsp. baking soda added
2 c. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. allspice
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves
1 c. chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)
Preparation

Mix first four ingredients well and add prunes and buttermilk with soda.
Then add remaining ingredients.
Bake in greased and floured tube pan for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
May be baked in two loaf pans, if desired.
One for the freezer and one to eat now!
Baking time should be reduced when using the two loaf pans.
