Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
1 c. white corn syrup
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. melted butter
2 tsp. lemon juice
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/2 c. pecan halves or 1 c. small pecan pieces
Preparation

Combine corn syrup, sugar, salt, vanilla, butter and lemon juice and stir until well blended.
Stir in eggs well, but do not beat.
Fold in pecans.
Pour into pie shell and bake at 425\u00b0 for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 325\u00b0 and bake 35 to 40 minutes longer or until crust and filling are golden brown.
Allow to cool and serve plain or with whipped cream.
