Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. long grain rice
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 Tbsp. oil
    1 can (10 3/4 oz.) chicken broth
    1 broth can water
    1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    In a 2-quart microwave saucepan, combine uncooked rice, onion, garlic and oil.
    Cook uncovered on High 4 to 6 minutes or until onion is tender, stirring once.
    Add broth, water, tomato sauce and pepper.
    Cook uncovered on High 5 to 7 minutes or until boiling.
    Stir cook on Medium 16 to 19 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed, stirring every 5 minutes.
