Chili Con Queso - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. Velveeta or American cheese
    1/2 c. milk
    1 large chopped onion
    3 cans chopped green chilies
    few shakes garlic salt
Preparation
    Melt cheese and milk in double boiler; add the onion, chilies and garlic salt; simmer.
    Serve in chafing dish with chips.
