Pineapple Pie - cooking recipe

2 cans (2 1/2 c.) crushed pineapple
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. butter
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Line an 8-inch pie pan with pastry. Combine pineapple with cornstarch, sugar and salt. Cook until thick and clear, stirring constantly. Add butter and lemon juice. Pour into pie pan. Weave strips of pie dough across top. Bake in 425\u00b0 oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
