Aunt Edna'S American Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. hot fat
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 cloves garlic
    1 can tomato puree
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    8 oz. pkg. lasagna noodles (9 noodles minimum)
    8 oz. Swiss cheese, cut into small cubes (1 1/2 c.)
    12 oz. carton cottage cheese
Preparation
    Brown ground beef and garlic in hot fat.
    Add tomato puree, salt, pepper and oregano.
    Cover and simmer 20 minutes.
    Cook noodles.
