French Cherry Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    1 c. sugar
    20 sq. soda crackers, crushed
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vinegar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1/2 c. confectioners sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 (2 oz.) pkg. Dream Whip
    1 can cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until foamy; add sugar to egg whites and beat until stiff peaks form.
    Combine crackers with baking powder and fold into egg mixture.
    Fold in vinegar, vanilla and chopped nuts. Bake in greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan at 325\u00b0 for 20 minutes; cool.
