Cheese Chicken Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chicken, boiled
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chopped bell pepper (green)
    1 c. chopped celery
    4 c. chicken broth
    1/4 c. butter
    2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. vegetable shortening
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/3 c. milk
Preparation
    Debone cooked chicken and cut in large pieces and set aside. In frying pan, mix onions, bell pepper, celery and butter. Stir frequently, cook on medium heat. After vegetables are cooked, add flour. Cook until golden brown. Stir in chicken broth and chicken and place in casserole dish. Blend flour and shortening in medium bowl. Add shredded cheese; mix well. Add some milk to make consistency to roll out for biscuits. Knead well; roll out into thin layer crust. Cut fifty cent size biscuits; place over chicken mixture. Bake in oven at 350\u00b0 until topping is golden brown.
