Macaroons - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. grated coconut
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla or 1/2 tsp. almond extract
    2 egg whites
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients.
    Shape into small balls, flatten slightly and place on greased cookie sheet.
    Let stand half hour. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes until slightly browned.
    Makes 18.
