Peanut Butter Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 sticks butter
    2 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/2 c. peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. peanuts, finely chopped (optional)
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Beat in eggs, one at a time.
    Add vanilla extract and slowly beat in peanut butter.
    Sift flour with baking powder and salt.
    Add flour mixture, a little at a time, until well blended.
    Line a 9 or 10-inch tube pan on the bottom with wax paper.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes; reduce heat to 325\u00b0 and bake 15 to 20 minutes.
    Cool in pan on wire rack for 10 minutes; then turn out.
