Yams - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. yams
1 c. sugar
1 small jar cherries
1 can apple pie filling
1 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla extract
nutmeg (sprinkle)
Preparation

Peel, boil and cut potatoes in pieces.
Place in a baking dish.
Place sugar over potatoes.
Add cherries with juice, pie filling, butter and sprinkle nutmeg.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until brown.
