Louisiana Jambalaya - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
1/2 link beef/pork sausage, sliced
2 c. shrimp
2 c. uncooked rice
garlic salt
onion salt
Tony Chachere's Creole seasoning
2 Tbsp. Kitchen Bouquet
Preparation

Saute chopped onion, celery and bell pepper.
Add sausage slices and brown.
Pour off grease.
Add shrimp and cook until shrimp turns pink.
Add rice and continue frying over medium heat for 2 minutes.
Add seasonings to taste.
Add about 4 cups water. Bring to a boil and cook on low to medium heat for 20 minutes, until rice is soft.
Cover pot while cooking.
