Chicken Pot Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 lb.) fryer
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 qt. water
    1 stalk celery
    1 tsp. salt
    1 medium onion
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
    1/2 c. butter
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 hard-cooked eggs
    2 large potatoes, cubed
    1/2 c. flour
    1 c. milk
    1 1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 (9-inch) refrigerated pie crust
Preparation
    Combine first 6 ingredients in large Dutch oven.
    Bring to boil.
    Cover and reduce heat; simmer until tender.
    Remove chicken, reserving broth in Dutch oven.
    Discard vegetables.
    Let chicken cool.
    Skin, bone and cut into bite sized pieces.
    Skim fat from broth.
    Bring broth to boil.
    Add frozen vegetables and potatoes.
    Simmer until tender.
    Remove vegetables from broth. Measure 3 cups broth and set aside.
