Sausage In Cheddar Biswiches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
    1/4 c. Chee-tos corn puffs, crushed
    1 1/2 tsp. instant minced onion
    12 oz. can Pillsbury Big Country buttermilk biscuits
    1 egg, beaten
    1 lb. pork sausage, shaped into 10 patties
Preparation
    Combine cheese, corn puffs and onion.
    Separate dough into 10 biscuits.
    Place biscuits 1/4-inch apart on baking sheet.
    Brush tops of biscuits with egg, sprinkle tops evenly with cheese mixture.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 12 to 14 minutes or until brown.
    Cook sausage patties.
    Split warm biscuits in half, butter if desired, and fill with warm sausage patties.
