Very Good Slaw(German) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 to 4 heads cabbage
2 large onions
1 c. vinegar (white)
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. mustard
1 tsp. salt
1 c. salad oil
Preparation

Shred cabbage and onions 1/4 to 1/2-inch thick. Heat vinegar, sugar, mustard and salt to boil. Add oil. Return to boil, but do not boil. Pour over cabbage/onion mix. Do not stir. Cover tightly. Let sit 1 hour. Stir and chill. Use as needed. Keeps well.
