Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. ground beef (coarse)
bacon grease
2 medium onions, chopped
1 tsp. each: garlic powder and celery salt
1 tsp. each: salt and black pepper
1/2 tsp. cayenne
1 (12 oz.) can beer
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can beef broth
1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste
5 Tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. ground oregano
2 tsp. brown sugar
1 (8 oz.) can chopped green chilies
1 Tbsp. and 1 tsp. cumin
Preparation

Brown ground beef in a small amount of bacon grease; drain. Add onions, garlic powder, celery salt, salt, pepper, cayenne, beer, beef broth and enough water to cover meat.
Simmer for 30 minutes.
Add tomato paste, chili powder, oregano, brown sugar and green chilies.
Simmer about 45 minutes.
Cool, then add cumin when ready to serve.
