Pink And White Fudge - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/4 c. light corn syrup
1 1/2 c. whipping cream
1 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
red food coloring
Preparation

Mix sugar, syrup and cream in heavy saucepan.
Boil until soft ball forms.
Watch closely.
Remove from heat.
Add butter and vanilla.
Beat by hand or with mixer until thickened.
Should be somewhat creamy.
Pour half into greased 9 x 9-inch baking dish. Quickly add 2 drops food coloring to remaining half.
Blend well. Pour over first layer.
Cool in refrigerator.
Slice when firm. May be wrapped in wax paper if desired.
