Prune Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    1 c. Wesson oil
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. prunes, cut small
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. walnuts
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Blend sugar with Wesson oil.
    Add eggs.
    Sift flour with dry ingredients.
    Add alternately with milk.
    Add prunes, nuts and vanilla. Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour in greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Have syrup ready and pour over hot cake.
