Apricot Envelopes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1/2 salt
    1 c. butter/margarine, softened
    1 pkg. (3 oz.) cream cheese, softened
    1/3 c. apricot preserves
    1 tsp. lemon peel
    1 egg white, slightly beaten
    1/2 c. nuts
Preparation
    Combine flour, salt, butter, lemon peel and cream cheese to make dough.
    Roll dough on floured board.
    Cut into squares.
    Fill center with preserves.
    Fold ends over, brush with beaten egg white and put nuts on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
