Baked Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 medium yellow squash
    1 small onion, chopped
    1/2 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
    6 Ritz crackers, crushed
    1 egg, beaten
    grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cook squash and onion with seasonings. Mash thoroughly; drain excess water.
    Add cracker crumbs and egg to squash mixture.
    Pour into a greased 2-quart baking dish.
    Bake 30 minutes.
    Sprinkle with cheese; continue baking until cheese has melted.
    Yields 6 servings.
