Mississippi Mud Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. Crisco
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/3 c. cocoa
2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt

Preparation

Cream together first 3 ingredients; set aside.
Mix together next 4 ingredients until well blended.
Bake in 9 x 13-inch greased pan at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
Remove from oven and spread bag of mini marshmallows over the top.
Return to the oven until marshmallows are slightly brown (5 to 10 minutes).
Cool completely.
Spread with frosting.
