Cheeseburger Onion Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 lb. onions, sliced and quartered
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/3 c. ketchup
    2 tsp. prepared mustard
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 (8 oz.) cans refrigerated crescent rolls
    1 c. shredded Cheddar
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 egg yolk, beaten
    1 Tbsp. water
Preparation
    In 10-inch skillet over medium heat, heat oil.
    Stir in onions, cover and cook 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    If onions begin to stick, add 2 tablespoons water.
    Remove from skillet; set aside.
    Brown beef; drain fat.
    Stir in ketchup, mustard, salt and pepper and set aside.
    Unroll 1 can of rolls and press together perforations.
    Roll out to a 12-inch square.
    Line a 9-inch pie pan.
    Trim 1 inch beyond edge of dish.
    Spoon meat into pie shell.
    Sprinkle with cheese; top with onions.
    Pour 2 beaten eggs over top.
