Chutney - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 lb. ripe tomatoes, cored and diced
    2 c. diced tart apples
    2 c. diced onions
    8 oz. pitted dates, cut up
    4 large garlic cloves, fine cut
    1 lemon, sliced thin
    juice of 1 lemon
    3/4 c. tomato juice
    3/4 c. apple juice
    3/4 c. cider vinegar
    1/2 c. honey
    2 tsp. coriander
    1 tsp. each: salt and pepper
    pinch of red pepper
Preparation
    Place all ingredients into 6-quart pot and mix well.
    Bring to boil; reduce heat and simmer 30 to 45 minutes.
    Cool slightly and place in hot glass jars.
    Makes 4 pints.
