Ginger Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    4 tsp. dark molasses
    2 c. flour
    2 level tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. ground cloves
    salt
    vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add slightly beaten egg and molasses. Mix dry ingredients together; add to other ingredients.
    Add vanilla.
    Dough will be loose.
    Take less than teaspoonful and shape with knife.
    Bake in 375\u00b0 oven approximately 15 to 18 minutes.
