Hot Lemon Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 1/4 c. boiling water
3 Tbsp. lemon juice
rind of 1 lemon, grated
2 Tbsp. butter
pinch of salt
1/4 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Combine, then mix thoroughly, the sugar and cornstarch.
Add slowly the boiling water.
Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Add, then blend well, the lemon juice, lemon rind, butter, salt and vanilla.
Serve hot.
Great on gingerbread.
