Bavarian Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 envelope gelatin (unflavored)
    pinch of salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 eggs, separated
    1 1/4 c. milk
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 c. cream, whipped
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 pkg. ladyfingers
Preparation
    In top of double boiler, combine gelatin, salt and sugar (first 3 ingredients).
    Stir in egg yolks.
    Then slowly stir in milk.
    Cook over boiling water, stirring until mixture coats spoon.
    Remove and refrigerate until like unbeaten egg whites.
