Squash Croquettes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 fresh squash, grated
    1 small onion, grated
    2 c. fine bread crumbs or cracker crumbs
    3/4 c. corn meal
    1 egg
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients except corn meal together.
    Use hands to mix thoroughly.
    Form into oblong cocoon shape croquettes and roll in corn meal.
    Fry in fat until golden brown.
