Pecan Pie Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 yellow cake mix
    1 stick margarine
    1 egg
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. Karo (light or dark)
    3 eggs
    1 c. (or more) chopped pecans
Preparation
    Take out and set aside 2/3 cup cake mix.
    Mix rest of cake mix with margarine and 1 egg.
    Press into a 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Mix the 2/3 cup cake mix with brown sugar, vanilla, Karo and 3 eggs.
    Pour over top of first layer and sprinkle pecans on top.
    Bake 30 to 35 minutes longer at 350\u00b0.
