Stuffed Pumpkin (Or Winter Squash) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    pumpkin
    1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    1/2 c. celery, chopped
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    3 Tbsp. bacon drippings
    1 lb. pork sausage
    2 c. rice, cooked
    1 c. black-eyed peas
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Wash pumpkin; cut in half.
    Saute pepper, onion, celery and garlic powder in bacon drippings until onion is transparent; remove from pan.
    Brown sausage and drain. Add to other ingredients and fill pumpkin cavity.
    Bake 1 hour or until fork penetrates the pumpkin easily.
    For cooking time, cover with aluminum foil.
