Scalloped Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage
    1 medium onion, diced
    water
    3 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. shredded American process cheese (Velveeta or Cheddar)
    cracker or bread crumbs
Preparation
    Core and coarsely chop cabbage.
    Place in pan with onion and a little water; cover and steam until tender.
    Place in a greased casserole.
