Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large unsweetened pineapple chunks
    1 small vanilla pudding (not instant)
    1 can mandarin oranges
    2 bananas
    any fresh fruit (grapes, maraschino cherries, peaches, etc.)
Preparation
    Drain pineapple and add enough mandarin orange juice to make 1 1/2 cups juice.
    Cook pudding with juice slowly until it comes to a boil.
    It will thicken as it cools.
    Cool thoroughly.
    Spoon pudding over fruit as you layer it in a bowl.
    If pudding is too thick, thin it by adding juice that is left over.
    Serve.
