Corncob Jelly - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    14 large red corncobs
    3 c. sugar
    1 pkg. Sure-Jell
Preparation
    Run water over cobs to take off last of shaff.
    In a roaster oven cover the cobs with water and boil 30 minutes.
    Use a lot of water, then cobs absorb a lot.
    Stir 3 cups of the red corn \"likker\" into a pan.
    Add one package or Sure-Jell.
    Let this come to a boil, then add 3 cups sugar.
    When this comes to a hard boil, let it boil a minute or until it starts to jell.
    Test by dipping a fork in, if the liquid holds a second it's ready for jars.
