Lime Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 lb. cucumbers
    2 gal. water
    2 c. lime
    2 qt. vinegar
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. mixed pickling spices
    4 1/2 lb. sugar
    1 tsp. whole cloves
    1 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine first 3 ingredients.
    Soak overnight in large crock. Rinse and put in clean water for 3 hours.
    Combine remaining ingredients.
    Soak in mixture overnight.
    Boil for 30 minutes. Seal in jars.
