Shrimp And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. boiled shrimp
    1 clove garlic, minced
    4 stalks celery, chopped
    1 tin whole tomatoes
    2 bay leaves
    1 sprig thyme
    dash of Tabasco sauce
    2 c. water
    1 large onion, chopped
    3 Tbsp. cooking oil
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 c. rice
Preparation
    Fry rice, onion, garlic and celery in hot cooking oil.
    Add tomatoes, seasoning, shrimp, Tabasco sauce and water.
    Cover tightly and cook slowly for about 50 minutes or until rice is soft; stir occasionally.
    Serve on large dish, garnished with tomatoes and green peppers.
