Raw Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. apples, finely chopped (food processor is good)
    4 large eggs
    2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. pecans or walnuts
Preparation
    Cream oil and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Mix flour, soda, salt and cinnamon.
    Add to the oil, sugar and eggs a small amount at a time.
    Add vanilla.
    Stir in apples and nuts.
    Spread in 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan and bake for 40 to 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
    Immediately poke holes in cake and pour the icing over it.
