New Orleans Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. Carnation milk
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. pecans
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cook first 4 ingredients in a heavy saucepan until soft ball stage, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in pecans and vanilla, continuing to stir until mixture begins to thicken.
    Drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper.
    Let set until hardens.
