Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. yellow corn meal
2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. lard (Crisco)
3 tsp. baking powder
pinch of salt
2 eggs
1 c. milk
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Cream sugar and shortening.
Add eggs. Sift corn meal, flour, baking powder and salt together.
Add alternately with milk.
Bake in 9 x 13-inch pan for 30 minutes.
