Summer Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 onion
    squash (enough to make 1 gal. or any amount you want)
    2 cans mushroom soup (1 can will do)
    8 oz. sour cream
    1 c. grated cheese
    1 pkg. herb dressing or bread crumbs (save some for top)
Preparation
    Cook together the onion and squash.
    Drain squash and onion mixture.
    Mash well.
    Pour squash into buttered baking dish. Add and mix well the remaining ingredients.
    Bake in a 375\u00b0 oven.
