Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. round steak or chuck, cut in 3/4-inch cubes
1/2 c. onion, chopped
2 (6 oz.) cans mushrooms
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 Tbsp. tomato paste
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 small clove garlic, chopped fine
1/2 c. sour cream
Preparation

Roll meat in flour and brown in hot grease in a large frying pan.
Remove meat; add onion, garlic, pepper and mushrooms.
Cook slowly until onions are a light golden color.
Add remaining ingredients except meat and sour cream.
Simmer until thick and bubbly.
Return meat to sauce and simmer, covered, stirring occasionally.
Add water as needed, if sauce becomes thick.
Cook until meat is tender and sauce is blended.
Add sour cream.
Serve over rice, noodles or mashed potatoes.
Serves 6 people.
