Lemon Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 1/2 c. sugar
juice and grated rind of 1 lemon
3 eggs
1 1/4 c. boiling water
Preparation

Mix cornstarch
and
sugar.
Cover
with
lemon
juice. (Boil the rind in
the hot water.) Add beaten egg yolks.
Then add the boiling water
with
lemon
rind.
Remove
and cook in double boiler.
Put in baked pie crust.
Beat egg whites until stiff. Add 6 tablespoons sugar to the 3 egg whites and spread over pie and brown.
