Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. plain flour
1 1/2 c. plain meal
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 c. or more buttermilk
1 onion, chopped
1 tsp. garlic powder

Preparation

Sift dry ingredients together.
Add milk, egg and onion.
Drop by teaspoonfuls into deep hot fat.
