Spicy Peach Halves - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 lb. 13 oz.) can peach halves
    2/3 c. peach syrup
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/3 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. grated orange peel
    1 tsp. whole cloves
    1/2 tsp. whole allspice
    minced parsley
Preparation
    Drain peaches.\tCombine peach syrup, brown sugar, vinegar, orange peel, cloves and allspice.
    Boil gently; add peach halves and simmer for 5 minutes.
    Chill in syrup.\tDrain; serve with parsley (optional) or on a lettuce leaf or meats.
