Six Layer Sausage Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. pork sausage (loose)
1/2 c. raw potatoes, sliced
1 c. raw onions, sliced
1 c. raw carrots, sliced
1/2 c. rice (uncooked)
1 1/2 c. canned tomatoes including juice
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
-
Brown sausage in heavy skillet; drain.
Place sausage in bottom of a 2-quart casserole.
Cover with layers of potatoes, onions, carrots and rice.
Add tomatoes with juice.
Combine salt, pepper and sugar.
Sprinkle over top.
Bake, covered, at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
Makes 6 servings.
