Cherry Crisp(Diabetic Recipe) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) can sour pitted cherries
    1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    4 tsp. sugar
    1/4 Tbsp. almond extract
    1/2 c. quick cooking oats
    2 Tbsp. chopped walnuts
    1 Tbsp. melted margarine
Preparation
    Fruit layer:
    Drain cherries, reserving 3/4 cup juice. Combine small amounts of juice, cornstarch and sugar in saucepan; stir in remaining juice.
